Motor Control Center Panel (MCC)

Also known as the Starter Panel, MCC Panels are essential for power management. Our MCC Panels are made from high-quality materials and components, designed to meet international standards. GRM is a leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of MCC Panels in India.

What is an MCC?

A Motor Control Center (MCC) is an assembly of enclosed sections with a common power bus, primarily containing motor control units. These may include variable frequency drives, programmable controllers, and metering.

Motor Starter

A starter controls power to equipment (usually motors), enabling start, stop, and protection functions.

  • Contactors: Control electric current flow.
  • Overload Protection: Prevents overheating and motor burnout.

DOL Starter (Direct-On-Line)

A simple starter for induction motors, using MCCB, contactors, and overload relays. It applies full voltage to the motor windings, leading to high inrush current but quick acceleration.

Components of DOL Starter:

  • Contactors & Coil: Electromagnetic switches for safe motor control.
  • Overload Relay: Protects against excessive current draw.

Star Delta Starter

Reduces starting current and torque by initially connecting the motor in a star configuration and then switching to delta.

Phases of Operation:

  • Star State: Low starting torque and current.
  • Open State: No current flows.
  • Delta State: Full voltage and power applied.

DC Starter Panels

Highly efficient and durable panels ensuring stable electrical supply.

Features:

  • Excellent quality & robust design
  • Easy installation
  • Remote ON/OFF control
  • Motor overload protection
